php连接mysql数据库执行sql语句无结果！求搭救

菜鸟初次接触php与mysql数据库的连接操作，模仿书上写了以下代码，发现可以连接上数据库，但是sql语句却总是没有被执行，sql语句是没问题的，在phpMyAdmin中是可以成功执行的，可是到了这里就不行，求大神搭救看看问题出在哪

哈哈大神不好意思，是我自己搞了个乌龙，我的mysql数据库中没有给这个用户权限，所以修改不了数据库，给完权限之后就好了，谢谢大神
